Shelley Bromberek-Lambert, Vice President, Operations
Shelley Bromberek-Lambert has been with the organization for over twenty years. During her tenure, she has held various positions, ranging from Manager of Business Development, to District Manager and Regional Vice President. Ms. Bromberek-Lambert has been recognized with several awards: District Manager of the Year, Excellence in Sales Performance, and Excellence in Leadership Initiatives. Ms. Bromberek-Lambert is currently charged with integrating field operations across all business lines.  She holds a bachelor's degree in political science.


Nina S. Rees, Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives
Nina Rees serves as Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Champions® and Knowledge Universe Education, LLC. At Champions®, Ms. Rees leads the company's government relations, public policy and community and parent outreach portfolio. Before joining Knowledge Universe, Ms. Rees worked for nearly 15 years in Washington, D.C., most recently as the Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement at the U.S. Department of Education. In this post, she oversaw the administration of 28 grant programs (which supported around 1,300 projects around the United States) and coordinated the implementation of the public school choice and supplemental education services provisions of the No Child Left Behind Act. Prior to joining the Education Department, Ms. Rees served as a Deputy Assistant for Domestic Policy to Vice President Dick Cheney, where she also worked on the passage of No Child Left Behind. Prior to joining the Executive Branch, she served as a senior education analyst at the Heritage Foundation where she authored more than two dozen policy briefs and served as the foundation's chief spokesperson on education. She began her career on Capitol Hill serving on the staff of Rep. Porter Goss, R-Florida., while earning her master's degree in international transactions from George Mason University.


Janeal Roberts, Vice President of Education
Janeal Roberts is a twenty-five year veteran of Champions® and has served in a variety of roles including classroom kindergarten teacher, master teacher, center director at multiple locations, curriculum specialist, and school-age education specialist. In her role as Vice President of Education for Champions®, she manages the Education Department, which is responsible for the development and implementation of all KLC School Partnerships curriculum, equipment, teacher training, and quality assurance initiatives. Ms. Roberts has a bachelor's in education and a master's degree in management sciences. She is actively involved at both local and state levels as a member, trainer, and endorser for both NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and NAA (National Afterschool Alliance).
