Journey Through Time this Summer at Champions!
Imagination will lead to newfound pathways this summer at Champions Summer Adventures 2010 Day Camp Programs.

Six Summer Adventure Themes:

Dinosaur Detectives – Searching for fossils, disentangling dinosaur mysteries, and exploring the work of paleontologists will give children the opportunity to discover what life was like when dinosaurs roamed the earth. 

It’s Greek to Me – As children learn about ancient Greek and Egyptian culture, they will see how these cultures have shaped the world today. From the first Olympics to ancient languages, children will step back in time into these exciting ancient civilizations. 

The Days of Knights – The Knights of the Round Table, castles, and royalty defined the Middle Ages. During this theme children will imagine what it was like to live like royalty, perform as court jesters, and even work as farmers. Children will also learn about the many important inventions that were born during this unique era. 

How the West Was Fun – Into the Wild West we go! Children will learn about life in the early days of America. They will be encouraged to think about what life was like long before automobiles, television sets, and electronic appliances.

Summer Palooza – Music and dance defined this exciting time in American history. The 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s will be explored and relived as children take a groovy trip back to the days of rock ‘n’ roll and beyond. 

Journey to Tomorrow – Imagination will be the guiding force during this theme as we voyage to the future. Children will explore their own visions of what transportation, fashion, and architecture will look like. Will we wear space suits and live on the moon? Only time will tell.
