We’re opening enrollment for Summer Champ Camp on January 9, 2024. Please note that the summer program may move to a nearby school location as we monitor enrollment activity. We’ll let you know as soon as possible if this program is going to take place at another school in your area.
Families have five Champ Camp sites to choose from this summer - Bates Elementary, Hunter Elementary, Gibraltar SD (Held at Parsons), Flat Rock School Age (Held in Flat Rock), and Woodhaven-Brownstown (Held at Erving). Click here to enroll now!
We are open every day school is in session. On early release days we will offer half day programs (with a minimum enrollment needed) and you will need to bring a bagged lunch.
Transportation Notes:
We bus from Patrick Henry Middle School and Brownstown Middle School to Yake Elementary School.

Champions provides busy, working families like yours the flexibility to extend the learning day before and after school for school-age children ages 5 to 12 years. With a balance of child-initiated and teacher-led activities, our programs serve your child’s wide variety of interests and skills by giving them choice.
2023/2024 School Year
Before-School:
1-3 days: $49 per week
4-5 days: $63 per week
After-School:
1-3 days: $49 per week
4-5 days: $63 per week
2024/2025 School Year
Before-School:
1-3 days: $52 per week
4-5 days: $67 per week
After-School:
1-3 days: $52 per week
4-5 days: $67 per week
Additional Fees:
Registration: $57 per child or $82 per family
Drop-In Before- or After-School Care: $24 per day
Drop-In Full Day Care: $46 per day
Early Release: $17 per day
In Service: $40 per day
Non-School Full Day: $50 per day
Discounts:
Multi-Child, Military or School Employee: 10%
Multi-Session: 10% (when enrolled in the same number of before- and after-school days)
State Child Care Subsidy is accepted at all Champions programs.
How soon can my child start Champions?
Your child can attend our program as early as 48 hours after you complete the online enrollment process.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is charged weekly on Thursday mornings for the following week, and is due by Friday. Payments can be made with a debit or credit card through your online account. We offer autopay for your convenience, so you can store your payment account and it will be charged weekly.
What if I want to change my child’s care schedule?
Flexibility is the magic word for busy families like yours! At Champions, you can adjust your child’s schedule from week to week, with options for full-time or part-time care.
Every Wednesday, we lock in the schedule and prepare invoices for the following week. So, if you want to adjust the days your child will be joining us, make sure to save changes by the Wednesday prior to the week of care you’re scheduling.
If your child attends our program and you haven’t scheduled by the Wednesday prior, you will be charged a drop-in fee at a higher rate.
