Great Outdoors at Elmhurst University

Welcome to Champ Camp Great Outdoors, a whole new immersive summer experience. We’re elevating day camp to Champion status. Picture a mix of explorations in nature with brainy STEM challenges, fabulous field trips, and games galore! Campers will nurture friendships and unlock hidden talents and even surprise themselves with newfound skills. Get ready—this is where summer magic unfolds.

CORE CAMP HOURS: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

NO-FEE EXTENDED HOURS: (included in cost)

Flexible Drop-off: 7:30–9:00 a.m.

Flexible Pickup: 4:00–5:30 p.m.

DATES: 6/10–8/9 (Join us for one week or all weeks.)

Explore a playground and geyser fountain, then enjoy a nice picnic—all at Centennial Park.
Outdoor Adventures
Relax and take in the stunning views of the Elmhurst Quarry, a former limestone quarry, where you can also learn its important history.

With nearly 850 trees, the University’s 48-acre arboretum campus has earned Tree Campus, USA® designation from the Arbor Day Foundation. Be sure to check out the sustainable prairie garden!

Enjoy the lush plant conservatory and greenhouse at Wilder Park Conservatory.
