Full-Day Summer Camp at La Roche University
Welcome to Champ Camp Great Outdoors, a whole new immersive summer experience. We’re elevating day camp to Champion status. Picture a mix of explorations in nature with brainy STEM challenges, fabulous field trips, and games galore! Campers will nurture friendships and unlock hidden talents and even surprise themselves with newfound skills. Get ready—this is where summer magic unfolds.

CORE CAMP HOURS: 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
NO-FEE EXTENDED HOURS: (included in cost)
Flexible Drop-off: 7:30–9:00 a.m.
Flexible Pickup: 4:00–5:30 p.m.

- Outdoor Adventures
Head over to this Allegheny County Park for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, plus a zipline course, picnic spots, ball fields, basketball and tennis courts, and hiking and bicycle trails.
- Parks and Picnics
Great for sports and exercise, North Park is also known for picturesque views while picnicking.
- Natural Beauty
Hike the local trails like the popular Red Trail, a 1.5-mile loop that winds through the woods or the Blue Trail, a one-mile loop that passes by the Kerr Fitness & Sports Center and the North Park trail system.
- Make a Splash
Enjoy fishing and kayaking at Little Pine Creek, a tributary of the Allegheny River that runs through the center of campus.
What would camp be like without field trips?
You don’t even have to know! With so many local options to choose from, campers get to switch it up on the regular.
