Full-Day Summer Camp at University of Portland

Welcome to Champ Camp Great Outdoors, a whole new immersive summer experience. We’re elevating day camp to Champion status. Picture a mix of explorations in nature with brainy STEM challenges, fabulous field trips, and games galore! Campers will nurture friendships and unlock hidden talents and even surprise themselves with newfound skills. Get ready—this is where summer magic unfolds.

• State-of-the-Art Sports
  From soccer and softball fields to basketball courts and paved walking paths, McKenna Park is great for all kinds of sports—and even a picnic. 
    
• Unique Access
  Overlooking the Willamette River, this campus is home to several outdoor athletic facilities, such as basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, a tennis court, and waterfront trails for hiking, biking, and running. 
   
• Natural Beauty
  Take in stunning views of the Willamette River, the city of Portland, and the surrounding mountains from Waud Bluff, which features two trails: the Waud Bluff Trail and the Bluff Trail. 
   
• Make a Splash
  Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, bird-watching, and more at local parks, ponds, and pools.
   
• Outdoor Adventures
  Play a little soccer or softball, then check out the playground and paved walking paths at Portsmouth Park.
