Great Outdoors at Riverdale High School

Welcome to Champ Camp Great Outdoors, a whole new immersive summer experience. We’re elevating day camp to Champion status. Picture a mix of explorations in nature with brainy STEM challenges, fabulous field trips, and games galore! Campers will nurture friendships and unlock hidden talents and even surprise themselves with newfound skills. Get ready—this is where summer magic unfolds.

CORE CAMP HOURS: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

NO-FEE EXTENDED HOURS: (included in cost)

Flexible Drop-off: 7:30–9:00 a.m.

Flexible Pickup: 4:00–5:30 p.m.

DATES: 6/17–8/16 (Join us for one week or all weeks.)

State-of-the-Art Sports
Step up to the plate at the baseball hitting tunnel or play at one of the other ball fields, all located at the Huston Sports Complex.
Make a Splash
Wade, swim, fish, and check out the wildlife exhibits at 4th Ave Trailhead, where you’ll also find picnic spots and a playground.
Outdoor Adventures
Discover a 658-acre forested area along a ravine with trails for hikers and horses, plus a nature center with fun exhibits at the Tryon Creek State Natural Area.
Natural Beauty
Enjoy the outdoors at River View Natural Area, where you can hike, picnic, and so much more.
